Volpone
The Mount Drama Society presented Ben Jonson’s “Volpone” on 26th and 27th February, directed by Ms Marian Greene, ably assisted by Sixth Form Drama student Josh Burns. The extensive cast included Ashley Hiscock, Byron Massarella, Richard Duggan and Fiona James, all familiar faces from recent Mount productions. Stewart Yarlett, Heather Ramsay, Tom Loftus and Danielle Desloges, all took on substantial roles and featured for the first time in a major Mount production. Ian Taylor and Alex provided a solid back-up as Technical Manager and Stage Manager respectively |

The Recruiting Officer
This year’s main production by the College’s Drama Society was George Farquhar’s challenging Restoration Comedy, “The Recruiting Officer”. Despite the demands of the text on the principal performers, much fun was had by all. The production was directed by Ms M Greene and lead roles were taken by Society stalwarts Andrew Davies, Beth McCreton, Lola Olawole-Anjorin, Byron Masserella and Paul Andrzejowski. Some inventive improvisation from comedy duo Richard Duggan and Ashley Hiscock was much enjoyed. |
