Mount St Mary's College is an 11- 18, co-educational, boarding and day school, under the trusteeship of the Society of Jesus but welcoming children of all denominations. The College is set in beautiful surroundings on the Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire borders.
Mount St Mary's College was founded in 1842 by Fr Randall Lythgoe, the Provincial Superior of the Society of Jesus, a Roman Catholic religious order more often known as the Jesuits. While Mount St Mary's is a Catholic school, we welcome and cater for the needs of students from other traditions in a truly ecumenical environment.
