Boarding at Mount St Mary's

 

Boarding is at the heart of life at Mount St Mary's, and we encourage all pupils to consider boarding at some point during their school career, to discover what living at school is like!   All day pupils get a chance to have a free boarding night per term, because we think that boarding is such a special part of life at the Mount.  We encourage a family atmosphere among our boarding community, made up of full, weekly and occasional flexi boarders and run it along normal family routines.  Our boarders come from the local area, wider afield in England, and from overseas.  
 
Why board at Mount St Mary's?  For our boarders, living in the heart of school means that they share in every part of school life.  They are saved the daily commute to school, meaning they have more time to become involved in all the activities on offer.  Supervised studies help them to focus on their studies, and when work is done there are always friends for social
time, within a safe and friendly environment.
