Health Care
The Health Centre is staffed 24 hours a day by qualified nurses.
There are 5 beds that can be used for "in-patients" or day pupils who may need to rest.
Doctors from the local surgery will visit on a Monday if called but there is always access to the surgery at other times.
The Health Centre acts as a walk-in centre where pupils are guaranteed full confidentiality.
Medical staff deal with minor ailments during pupils' breaks. They also deal with any accidents or injuries which may occur.
There is support for any pupil suffering from other ailments, e.g. asthma or diabetes and a school policy for dealing with pupils who may suffer from severe allergies.
All parents are asked to complete a medical form.
